An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a detailed inspection of the fixed wiring in a property. We test the consumer unit, circuits, sockets, lighting, earthing and bonding, and report any damage, deterioration or defects in a clear written report. EICRs are commonly needed for rented properties, house sales and purchases, insurance and mortgage requirements, and business premises. Private landlords in England must have one at least every five years.
We also provide testing and certification for new installations and alterations, and we can carry out any remedial work found, so you deal with one friendly team from inspection through to sign-off.
